In Years 7 and 8, students learn through our innovative Connected Learning Programme

In Years 7 and 8, students learn through our innovative Connected Learning Programme (CLP) which caters for the Seven Developmental Needs of the Early Adolescent – Physical Activity, Competence and Achievement, Self-Definition, Creative Expression, Positive Social Interactions, Structure and Meaningful Participation. It is designed to complement and work withnot against, the distinct cognitive profile of younger teenagers.

In Year 9, students are prepared for IGCSE pathways, moving to different teachers for each core subject, including specialist Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons.

Pastoral Care:  Our academic curriculum is underpinned by a pastoral programme which develops the individual skills necessary for students to make the right decisions, take responsibility for their actions and be globally aware.

Preparation for IGCSE study: From Term 2 of Year 9, students are supported to make decisions about the IGCSE courses they will pursue during Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).​
