TSIS Senior School (Bearing Campus) is located on the south-eastern edge of Bangkok (near Sukhumvit Soi 76). The school operates a shuttle service for students from Bearing BTS Station. The campus, which opened in 1985, is set on an enormous 13 rai plot, creating an ideal environment for students during their teenage years.
In addition to recently renovated learning areas, the school’s sporting and extracurricular compare to some of the finest schools in Bangkok. These include an indoor gymnasium, football field, covered basketball courts, tennis and volleyball courts, a 400-metre track, cricket ground and 25 metre swimming pool.
The British National Curriculum provides our Senior School with an internationally recognised curriculum framework, tailored to meet our values and setting and the needs of individual students.
At the Senior School, the following stages of the British National Curriculum are offered to students:
Key Stage 3: Years 7-9
Key Stage 4: Years 10-11 (IGCSE)
Key Stage 5: Years 12-13 (AS and A Level)
The school day runs from 7.30am until 3.20pm and includes eight academic periods and 'period 9' for ECAs (Monday-Thursday).
Our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Service Learning programmes ensure that students have a variety of opportunities to develop not only academically, but also socially and morally, so they are well prepared for the challenges in our fast-changing world.
